너무 더운 날이야. 우리는 팬케잌 가게로 갔어 토스트도 먹고 씻기도 해야쥐. 토비는 펜케잌이 먹고 싶었지만 엄마는 그만큼 돈이 있는건 아냐. 학교에서도 내 머리속에 윌리를 훔칠 생각 밖엔 없어. 개를 훔쳐서 둘곳이 없는것 빼고 다 좋아.좋은 생각이 났어. 그 오래된집에 윌리를 두면 되겠다.
우리는 엄마랑 만나기로한 YWCA로 가기싫어서 이리저리 걷다가 토비가 신문을 묶은 줄을 찾았어. 윌리의목줄이야. 나는 주머니에 쑤셔넣었어. 엄마는 커피숍에 새 직장을 얻었는데 거긴 화이트 모어길과도 가깝고 윌리를 데려다 오래된 집 현관앞에 두기만 하면돼. 문제 없어 완벽해.
보라공책에 규칙 몇개를 더 적었어.
내 안에서 갑자기 죄책감이 고함을 질러 ㅠ.그치만 눌렀어. 난 정말 개를 훔칠 꺼야.

마침내 우리는 개를 훔쳤어! 윌리야 곧 주인이 보상금간판을 붙이면 집으로 돌려 보내 줄께. 쬐끔만 여기 낡은 집에 있으면 돼. 그러나 내 마음은 무지하개 나쁜짓을 하는것 같아. 나는 윌리의 녹색 목줄을 풀어서 수풀에 버렸어. 이름표에 전화번호가 있잖아.토비는 어둡고 축축한 이집에 윌리를 두고 가는게 맘에 걸리지만 내가 생각할수 있는 최선이야. 엄마가 돈을 모으는걸 도와야만해. 그리고 나는 윌리가 배가 고플껄 생각 못했어. 생각할게 너~무 많아. 두근 거리는 마음이 쿵쾅거리는 걸로 바꿨어.

It was so hot the windows were all steamed up. We headed over to the Pancake House to wash up and get some toast. Toby wanted to eat pancakes but mama didn't have enough money.
That day in school, all I could think about was how I was going to steal that little dig,Willy. Everything seemed pretty good except for that problem about where to keep the dog after you steal him. I got an idea. I could keep Willy at that boarded-up old house!
After school me and Toby didn't want to go to YWCA where promised with mama. So walked up and down the street, Toby found newspapers' string for Willy and I untie the string and stuffed it into my pocket.

Mama got a new job that is the coffee shop. There wasn't far from Whitmore Road. I could grab Willy,hide him on the porch of the old house, no problem. This would be perfect.
I added several rules in my purple note.
And when my guilty conscience started hollering at me, Ipushed that down.
I really was going to steal a dog.

At last,we steal Willy and take him over to that house. As soon as his owner puts up the reward sign, we'll take him back home. He's gonna be there for a little while. But a feeling like maybe I had done a real bad thing.
I unbuckled Willy's green collar and tossed it into th bushes. Becouse it had her phone number on the tag.

Toby thought that boarded- up house is spooky and dark and damp for dog. But This is the only thing I can think of. We need to help mama get some money.
And I hadn't even thought what if he gets hungry.I had a lot of thinking to do. My tapping feeling was turning into full-out banging.
